Interested in living close to the beach in a gated community? Well, today I’m taking you into one of the premier gated communities in St Augustine…Sea Pines.

We saw a huge uptick in people moving to the area last year, I know this because I am a St Augustine Realtor and the majority of the home buyers I am meeting are from out of state. Many of these buyers are looking for a neighborhood much like Sea Pines so let us take a tour and see why people fall in love with this community.

Located in the southern area of St Augustine off of Rt. 206, you will find Sea Pines. Lots are a minimum of 90 feet wide and include lot sizes from 1/4 acre to 1 acre. The Sea Pines amenities include a community pool, park and playground facilities.

This is an HOA community and the fees are $336 a quarter which include the amenities, the security gate, common areas and management.

If you love the outdoors, another great thing about this location is the Sea Pines.  It is adjacent to Moses Creek Conservation area which also surrounds 3 sides of this community.  And offers 7 miles of walking trails and picnic areas to enjoy. And if you love the beach and fishing, no problem. Sea Pines is a short 5-minute drive to Crescent Beach and the Intracoastal waterway.

Now you may think that this area may be too quiet with nowhere to go for dinner.  But you would be wrong because Bistro 206 is across the street and Safe Harbor seafood. And Elk House Eatery in Crescent Beach is great too.

This is truly a fantastic community whether you are a growing family or seeking a retired lifestyle.
