St Augustine Florida’s BEST Neighborhoods

LIVING IN ST AUGUSTINE

It’s easy to find new construction communities these days but what about the established neighborhoods? Today I’m going to take you on a tour of one of St Augustine Florida’s hidden gem neighborhoods.

A Community Neighborhood

Oakbrook is a gated community, situated ten minutes from St Augustine’s beautiful downtown area and ten minutes to I95 for easy access to the north and south.

Single Family Homes

This community features single family homes built mainly with concrete block and sit on  ½ acre wooded lots affording you the privacy you rarely see in new construction today. These homes vary in size from 2200 to 5500 sq feet and many even have pools. Prices range from $450k to $800k.

These homes are on septic and if you are concerned about that, watch this video by our very own Megan Smalley to ease your mind.

Getting Around Oakbrook

Oakbrook is a great example of a newer master-planned community. Tree-lined streets and bigger lots have become a popular feature among newcomers to the area. The convenience to shopping and to our beautiful beaches make it a gem of a neighborhood.

Oakbrook HOA

This is an HOA community but the fees are very low at only $60 a month and amenities include a clubhouse, pool, tennis courts, ball field, a playground and nature areas.

Final Thoughts

When buying a new house, one of the most important considerations is location. You do not need to settle for new construction so if a more established community is what you desire, there are plenty of neighborhoods in St Augustine FL to choose from.
